i really laughed a lot today! haha! all the way! especially when qi was doing that chinese dance! demo-ing that guy whole she saw on stage! damn funny! i even tried doing it in front of my mom! we laughed so loud my brother had to close his room door! wonder is i did it right...maybe my mom thinks i'm crazy! lol!

oh well...qi was the highlight of my really really good day! =)

Just received my study guides today! They are the size of textbooks! omg! how am i gonna read through all those papers! killers!!! Just when i thought my lecture notes were more than enough....

If i were to add my lecture notes and study guides all together...i think the amount of paper would be about the same as all my poly lecture notes...3 years combined together! this is real freaky! can't imagine myself mugging for exams! i'll juz pray real hard that each paper would be at least a week apart!

9/8: Dim sum with dad+mom+bro+kai (the big combo!)

woke up early just to queue up for tim sum at chin swee road's red star restaurant! hahaha! but the food was good! i ate till i feel like i was pregnant and my fuzzy dad din complain abt the food!!!(juz the homemade fishballs) hahaha! i know it sounds crazy but i like it there with all the aunties pushing trollies around and calling out who wants the tim sum they carry! it gives me that kind of back to the past kinda feel! i like!

After eating, SHOPPING SPREE! a very good way to shake those extra calories off! Plus! Mr Yeong was with me, pampering me like a queen!

10/8: Lunch + pasta dinner with Darling!

i tell you! i've really been eating a lot! everywhere i go, i eat!

lunch= to the HK cafe darling and i love the most! heh! but somehow...after having tau-hui, my milk tea taste weird. for some reasons la! or is it juz my taste buds? kai din think so! oh well! we went over to tiong bahru for dinner at the new pasta place by sakae! it's good! caborana is good and the tepanyaki pasta is also good!

12/8: got my presents from lyana, alina, peifang and shikin! so sweet! and we're still goin out on friday to celebrate my post birthday!!! so sweet of them la! can't wait for that cheesy pizza after paper on friday!!!!

met Qi lata in the evening for dinner! and i really din expect to see teresa and weiling walking in with mrs. fields cookie+lighted candles+birthday song!!!! =))))) omg!!!! it was really really unexpected! together with the gift lata on...they really shouldn't have gone through all that touble! credits to my smelly boyfriend too! heh! one of the mastermind.

The weekends has been one of the best! Kaian booked out on saturday morning!!! was so looking forward to seeing him! it's been 2 weeks eh! I was drooling when i meet him in his uni at the train station! HOT!!! haha!

We went over to great world to watch Dark Knight (finally!) it was awesome! wish i had tt batmobile!!! i'll be like the coolest gal in town! i must say, Dark Knight is really worth the extra weekend + booking charges! 2 hr++ in the theatre with all that action! totally worth every cent! there was one part where i tot the joker was really gonna slice tt black guy's cheeks...was covering my eyes after joker told tt guy how he got those scares on his cheeks!

Had a really good day today! yeah! But now, darling's back in camp...waiting for the coming weekends to come! CAn't wait can't wait!
at the mean time, i've gotta study for the coming exams! omg! i suck at maths and econs makes clouds of question marks above my head!!! passing grade's 34/100...sound easy eh? but it ain't!!! fail the papers and i won't get my examptions...hafta make it through no matter wad! lecture notes here i come!!!

Reasons for sleeping and waking up early.

The band's name is Sweaters. they're from indo. never heard of them before but i must say their live performance was really good! so much betta than the band before them! haha! Their drummer is POWER man!!! damn good! couldn't resist buying their cd...Kai was so excited he immediately open the cd cover even before i could have a good look at it =S

it's really nice dropping by esplande even though the view now is covered with constructions and stuff but there's always live performance around so if u're on budget and have no where to go during the weekends, u can always head down to esplande and checkout the live bands performing! oh oh!!! and MAX BRENNER ROCKS!!!! choco lovers will agree *grins

trip to the zoo today! it has been like 10 years ever since i entered that place! hahaha!
not much changes though...still as many monkey spieces as ever...just that the children's world is a little gone now. you don't get to see or hold little chicks in your hands anymore! yeah! and 70% of the place is like gone! due to renovations stuff or whatever they're doing to that place!

The Most Dangerous Potato Chips to Eat

Public knowledge of the serious dangers found in potato chips may finally be surfacing. The California-based Environmental Law Foundation (ELF) has filed notices with the state's attorney general against potato chip manufacturers:

Lay's potato chip maker PepsiCo Inc.
Pringles maker Proctor & Gamble Co.
Cape Cod potato chip parent Lance Inc.
Kettle Chips maker Kettle Foods Inc.

that would require them to place labels on their products warning consumers about the high levels of acrylamide found inside. Acrylamide is formed when starchy foods are baked or fried at high temperatures and is considered a cancer-causing chemical by the Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment.

Manufacturers who sell their products without such warnings are in violation of California law, California Proposition 65

The attorney general's office has 60 days to decide to pursue the case; if the state declines, the ELF will file lawsuits against the companies.

What Do the Chip Makers Have to Say?
The reaction from the chip makers was on the defensive ... though the Food and Drug Administration's (FDA) wavering position on the dangers of acrylamide certainly doesn't help.

Perhaps the FDA should review the report developed by the ELF that listed just how far various chip brands exceeded the state's required warning levels for acrylamide. The offenders include:

Cape Cod Robust Russet: 910 times
Kettle Chips (lightly salted): 505 times
Kettle Chips (honey dijon): 495 times
Pringles Snack Stacks (pizza-flavored): 170 times
Lay's Baked: 150 times
